The reformed Grote- or St. Catharinakerk is a big hall-church in Gothic style. It largely dates from the 15th and 16th centuries but much of had to be rebuilt after World War Two, having been badly damaged by bombs in 1945 Location: Markt 12

The O.L. Vrouwe ten Hemelopneming is Doetinchem's main catholic church. It was built in 1933-1934 and was designed by H.W. Valk. Location: Prins Hendrikstraat 36
